Dinner for the September 8th meeting. Dinner starts at 6:30PM. Reserve online at wrg.club/dinner or you must call Marianne first at 845-626-7968 to make your reservation and send in a check for $15 per person. Reservations MUST be in by Sept 1st! There will be no ‘walk-ins’ – make a reservation if you want to attend dinner.
Dinner will be: Spring salad mix with sliced strawberries, candied walnuts, crumbled goat cheese with a strawberry/white balsamic vinaigrette.
Breast of chicken; stuffed with spinach, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. Béarnaise sauce,
Rice Pilaf, Rolls/butter, Chocolate layer cake with vanilla ice cream.

22 caliber long range New shooters always welcome. 2026 Match dates are the following Saturdays 9/19, 10/17. Shooting will be from 9:00 to 2:00. Contact number is 845.421.1080 - Text or Call.

22 Benchrest Matches at Wawarsing: 2026 schedule has been posted. The remaining Wawarsing match date is Sept 13. Shoot starts at 9 AM. The rimfire range will be closed to casual shooting during the match. Info is also at wrg.club/benchrest

Skeet Shooting – Skeet shooting schedule is Tuesdays and Fridays 9:30am – 1:00 . Arrive at 9:00 for squad assignments. We will also open the skeet range on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. Saturday shooting will start at 1:00 PM. Future dates are on the club site calendar or please contact the chairmen below as to the future dates. BILL BUSKEY chairman 845-361-2778. Trap Shoots at Wawarsing – Trap shoots are 1 ^st and 3 ^rd Saturday of the month through October. No signup necessary. Open to the public. Shoots will begin at 9:30. Arrive at 9:00. Cost is $5.00 per round. Interested in helping run the shoots? Email trap@wrg.club. Info is also at wrg.club/trap.

There is a change in the dues schedule for 2027. This was voted on and passed at the meeting on 6/9/2026.
Regular dues $75, Senior dues $40, New Life members dues starting 2027 will be $25. Existing life members will remain at $15.

300 yard range will be closed on Sept 5th till 2:00 while we host a sight in for the Kinfolk Hunting Collective.

300 yard range will be closed on Sept 12 ^th till about 1:30 while the Federation Trap Match is under way. The ranges will then be open once the match is over.

Shotgun Hulls at the 300 yard range – pick them up when you are done shooting!

Late Summer Project Day – 8/29 – 9:00 till 2:00 On the docket is: Additional tree and brush cutting, move cut wood into the range house to dry out, road & launch cleanup, etc. sign up on the events page online to help out - as usual, lunch will be provided. (wrg.club/events)
