The Skeet Division recently had their 2026 club championship. The Top Gun Shoot was held on August 14th and had 23 shooters contesting for the coveted 2026 Top Gun Hat. The weather was near perfect with sunny skies, low humidity, and little wind. The shoot consists of 2 rounds of regular skeet and one round of all doubles skeet, for a total of 76 targets presented.

The Top Gun for 2026 is Bill Buskey with a score of 74. Hot on his heels all day, coming in second place overall, and first place in A Class, was Dan Everett with a score of 73. In third place overall was James Barry with a score of 71. James had the tie breaker of longest run over Bob Trenz, who also broke 71 targets. Rounding out the class winners were: Mark Fedrizzi winning B class with a 63 score and Harry Walker won Class C with a score of 56. After the shoot, shooters enjoyed a nice lunch prepared by Peter's Market.

The Club thanks all shooters who participated and supported the Club's Skeet Division this year and encourages other club members to give it a try. It's great practice for the upcoming upland and waterfowl hunting seasons. Check the website for Skeet shooting days and times.

Tuesday and Friday shoots have resumed.

Skeet shooting is scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays 9:30am – 1:30. Arrive at 9:00 for squad assignments

We will also open the skeet range on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. Saturday shooting will start at 1:00 PM.
