Code of Conduct

Being a member of this club involves certain responsibilities. The following terms comprise our Code of Conduct and have been voted by the membership to be in the best interest of the club.

  • Each member shall treat the club property with care and respect.

  • Each member shall be allowed to have one guest accompany the member on the property.

  • Motor vehicles shall be kept behind the ranges and only in the parking lots or driveways.

  • Shooting Hours shall be from 9:00 am to SUNSET.

  • All shooting shall be in a safe direction, and towards safe backstops.

  • For safety reasons, there shall be no hunting or hiking on our property behind the impact areas of the ranges - at any time.

  • Casual shooting shall not be permitted on the range while a scheduled shoot is being conducted.

  • Junior members must be accompanied by an adult while using the club ranges.

  • No equipment or supplies belonging to the club or any of its divisions shall be borrowed, lent, or rented by anyone for any reason.

  • Under no circumstances should any targets be placed on the berm to the right of the rifle/pistol range nor any shooting towards that berm. Placing targets on this berm creates a very dangerous situation with the possibility of projectiles going off the club property toward the camp. This behavior endangers our neighbors and the existence of our club

  • Any group of members, or other organization, upon deciding to become a sub group of the club shall obey the following regulations: All shall be members of the parent organization; the division shall use the Club's name as part of theirs, and any money raised in excess of expenses belongs to club.

  • Except as may be approved by the Board of Directors, there shall be no sponsorship for any competitions, trips, or fees of any individual, team or division.

  • Dues shall be paid by the calendar year. No statements are mailed. Any members in arrears at the end of January shall be considered "members not in good standing', and cannot participate in nor attend any club function until their dues are paid. Any member whose dues are not paid by April 1st shall cease to be a member of the club. If a member is dropped from the club because of non-payment of annual dues he must pay the initiation fee and one years dues in order to be re-instated. They need not make an application if reapplication is within 6 months of being removed from the membership.

  • Any member, over 65 years old, in good standing shall be entitled to pay a set amount of $25.00 per year upon request to the membership secretary.


    Any member in good standing, having reached the age of 70 and having been a member for the last continuous 15 years, upon request to the membership secretary, can apply for "Life" membership at $15.00 per year.
  • Junior memberships shall be open to anyone age 12 to 18 years old inclusive who shall file an application with the club. Such dues shall be $20.00 per year.

  • Clubhouse rental shall be to members only for their personal family use. Guests are limited to the maximum allowable number of persons in accordance with local occupancy limitations which are posted in the clubhouse. There is a rental fee of $125.00 and a refundable security deposit of an additional- $50-00 which must be posted prior to the rental date.

  • Anyone deemed to be acting or have acted in an un-sportsman like manner may be dropped from the membership by the decision of the Board of Directors.

Additional codes of conduct listed below are topics that have come up for discussion and are explicitly listed. This is not a comprehensive list.

Photographs: No one shall take pictures of any other individuals on club grounds without first obtaining express permission to do so.

Dogs/Pets: Any dogs or pets on club grounds must be on a leash or otherwise restrained and under the owners control

Membership cards: A member may ask any individual to see thier membership card if it is not openly displayed. That individual must comply and show thier membership card.
Any member can request a non-guest non- member to leave teh club grounds.

Tannerite or other exploding targets are banned and not to be used on the ranges at the WRGC. Explosions disturb our neighbors, and we try to be good neighbors.

Members are asked to pick up all fired shotgun hulls from the trap & skeet ranges and not to put any target throwers directly on top of the trap houses

No center fire firearms are allowed on the rim fire/archery range (the range with the concrete tower). This is to limit the noise to our neighbors.
