The next meeting will be on April 9, 2024. We have a volunteer to cook! There will be a Dinner meeting for the April 9th meeting. Dues were due in January. Regular membership is $50, Senior is $25 and Life membership is $15. If you have 2023 on your membership card or on your newsletter, you will be dropped on April 1^st. call Marianne between 10 AM and 7:30 PM.

The annual cleanup day will be on April 27 at 9 AM. The ranges will be closed. Lunches will be served.

The 22 caliber long range matches will be on the 300-yard range on Sun. 4/28, Sun. 5/26, Sat. 6/22, Sat. 7/20, Sun. 8/25, Sat. 9/22, and Sat. 10/19. Matches start at 9AM and should be finished about 4 PM. No casual shooting will be on the 300-yard range during the matches.

Safety Alert – The Skeet division reports finding fired 00 Buckshot shotshells on the skeet ranges. All members are advised to use bird shot NO LARGER than 71/2 when shooting at aerial targets to reduce the chance of shot falling off the club’s property .

Remember – there is no using Tannerite or other exploding targets on the ranges at the WRGC. Explosions disturb our neighbors, and we try to be good neighbors.

SKEET SHOOTING

THE SKEET DIVISION HAS EXPERIENCED A REDUCTION IN PARTICIPATION OVER THE PAST SIX MONTHS. IN AN EFFORT TO INCREASE THE NUMBER AND ALSO TO ATTRACT NEW SKEET SHOOTERS, THAT WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN FOR THE SPORT, WE WILL OPEN THE SKEET RANGE ON THE 1st and 3rd SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH. SHOOTING WILL START AT 1:00 PM. WE WILL BEGIN IN FEBUARY ON SATURDAY 2-6-21 AND 2-20-21.
